Assistant Finance Manager
Mumbai | 5 to 6 years of experience
 
Responsibilities:

 

  • Monthly financial results closing, financial analysis and reporting
  • To handle quarterly reviews, including budgeting and forecasting
  • Taxation matters
  • Cash management and cash flow reporting
  • Liaise with auditors and tax agents
  • Prepare financial returns to regulatory bodies
  • To assist in dealing with regulatory bodies
  • Liaise with bankers on a regular basis for corporate account management
  • Assist in Human Resources related issues
  • Ad-hoc financial matters and projects that may be assigned from time to time
  • Review and supervise the work done by Finance Executive
  • Reporting to the Managing Director in India and the Financial Controller of head office in Singapore

 

Requirements:

 

  • Chartered Accountant and/or Degree in Commerce/Accountancy
  • 5-6 years of relevant experience
  • Those with working experience in international audit firm will have an added advantage
  • Well versed in local and international Financial Reporting Standards, taxation, regulatory and compliance reporting requirements in India
  • Able to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Independent, self-motivated, team player and meticulous
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Experience in Financial Systems like Oracle, SAP, PeopleSoft Financials, Sun Systems or any other ERP
  • Immediate availability is preferred
